Mexico settles for draw on rainy night in Jamaica

The England international played down the fact he is now closing in on Spurs' all-time scoring record after netting his 12th goal of the season

Tottenham striker Harry Kane insisted he is not thinking about breaking Jimmy Greaves' goalscoring record for Tottenham after hitting his 200th goal for the club on Thursday.

Kane headed home Lucas Moura's corner in the 13th minute of a Europa League clash against Ludogorets to reach his double century for Spurs in 300 appearances across all competitions.

The England international's latest effort set Jose Mourinho's men up for a comfortable 3-1 victory in Bulgaria which saw them move top of Group J after three fixtures.

Kane has scored 121 goals for the Lilywhites with his right foot, 44 with his left and 34 with his head, plus one with another part of his body, with 177 of those coming inside the box and 23 from outside.

The 27-year-old, who has scored 30 penalties but just one direct free-kick, sits third on Tottenham’s all-time scoring list, eight goals behind second-place Bobby Smith and 66 behind Greaves.

"It's not on my mind," Kane told BT Sport when asked if he was thinking about overtaking those two after the win at Ludogorets.

"It's something that you guys will let me know once I pass that. These are all great things. It's kind of hard to take them in when you're playing. Once you finish your career you take them all in.

"Time goes so quick, it feels like yesterday I was scoring that first goal for Spurs. It's a great achievement to reach 200 goals, but for sure hopefully there's a few more left. Let's keep them coming."

Spurs suffered a shock 1-0 defeat to Royal Antwerp in their previous Europa League game and Kane says it was important to get back to winning ways in the competition.

"We had to bounce back," he said. "I don't think it was our greatest performance tonight but we got the job done. It's never easy coming away in Europe, as last week showed.

"We put ourselves in a nice position. After the international break we play these again at home, so if we win the next couple it should be enough to get through."

Mourinho added on Kane's milestone in his own post-match interview with BT Sport: "The numbers make him a club legend. What he's achieving is great for such a young guy."

Tottenham will now turn their attention to a Premier League clash away at West Brom on Sunday before taking in a much-needed rest over the international break.

The annual event is back for another season in FIFA Ultimate Team with new players, objectives and challenges

EA Sports acquired the official rights for the Champions League and Europa League in 2018 and since then has made the UEFA competitions a key part of FIFA.

Since FIFA 19, EA Sports has released special Road to the Final cards in FIFA Ultimate Team as well as Team of the Group Stage and Team of the Tournament to celebrate impressive performances in both tournaments.

Road to the Final is back for FIFA 21 with new squads, new objectives and new Squad Building Challenges (SBCs).

What is FIFA 21 Road to the Final?

Road to the Final is a promotional event that begins during the Champions League and Europa League group stage but continues to give benefits right until the end of the season.

Players selected in the Road to the Final squads receive an initial upgrade to their overall rating and then will be upgraded further as they progress through the tournament.

If a team qualifies for the knockout stage, their chosen player(s) will get a points upgrade and then will get another upgrade for reaching the quarter-final and so on until the final itself, with the winner also getting another additional upgrade.

Last season, both Leon Goretzka and Kingsley Coman received 86-rated special cards in the initial squad and these were rated at 95 overall by the time the tournament ended and Bayern Munich lifted the trophy.

When will FIFA 21 Road to the Final start?

The Road to the Final event will begin on Friday, November 6 after the third matchday of the Champions League and Europa League group stage.

A special Road to the Final squad will be released as well as themed objectives and Squad Building Challenges, offering additional upgraded players, kits and packs as rewards.

Additional Europa League players will also be released into packs and through SBCs and Objectives.

Who is in the FIFA 21 Road to the Final squad?

The first Road to the Final squad will be revealed on Friday, November 6 and will be in packs for one week, with a second squad potentially released a week later.

The identities of the first batch of players have not been revealed, but EA Sports began to tease some of the contents from Wednesday, November 4 through the game's loading screen and on their social media accounts.

Isco was the first confirmed player from this year's squad, with a splash screen also indicating that a Bayern Munich player iwith an 85 dribbling rating would be included.

Each squad will be made up of players from this season's Champions League and Europa League group stage, with the majority of players coming from teams in the UCL.

How do I get FIFA 21 Road to the Final players?

Most of the Road to the Final players will be released into packs which can be bought in the store. These players can then be bought and sold on the transfer market.

Some additional players will also be released through Squad Building Challenges and Objectives and are not available in packs or tradeable on the transfer market.

The SBC players will be available for a limited time only, so once the challenge is complete, you will no longer be able to acquire those players for your team.

The 20-year-old will have to watch from afar as the Bundesliga club have decided not to let any of their players leave Germany due to Covid-19 worries

Josh Sargent will not be available to U.S. men’s national team coach Gregg Berhalter for the upcoming friendly games with Wales and Panama.

Sargent’s club, Werder Bremen, have decided not to release Sargent for international duty due to coronavirus restrictions in Germany.

The USMNT play Wales at Swansea’s Liberty Stadium on November 12, before heading to Austria to face Panama four days later.

A statement from Werder Bremen said: “The decision has been made due to a regulation from the Bremen health authority, which states that players who are returning from international risk areas must quarantine for five days.”

Sporting director Frank Baumann added: "We spoke with our players and with the various associations. FIFA are releasing clubs from their obligation to make players available for international duty if they have to quarantine upon their return.

“We know that the players would like to join up with their teams, but we cannot take that risk this time, given the overall situation.”

Bremen duo Jiri Pavlenka and Jean-Manuel Mbom will be permitted to leave for international duty as their games for the Czech Republic and Germany Under-21s respectively won’t require them to leave the country.

Provided there are no last-minute disruptions, the games with Wales and Panama will be the USMNT’s first fixtures since before the coronavirus pandemic.

Their only game in 2020 so far was a 1-0 friendly win over Costa Rica. Ulysses Llanez scored the only goal of the game on his senior international debut.

Sargent’s absence will come as a blow to Berhalter, who has put together a fresh-faced young squad for the November international break.

Giovanni Reyna, Konrad de la Fuente, Chris Richards and Yunus Musah are among a number of young players to have been called up to the senior squad for the first time.

“This is a young squad and there are a number of young players plying their trade at the highest level in Europe and other guys who are breaking into squads in second teams, at Bayern or Barcelona. It is exciting,” former goalkeeper Kasey Keller told ESPN.

The average age of the squad is only a little over 21, with some suggesting it is the USMNT’s most talented squad ever put together.

The West Africans' football association boss delivers an update on their pursuit of the right-back

Ghana Football Association (GFA) president Kurt Okraku has revealed the West Africans are aiming high to woo the England-born Brighton and Hove Albion player for a change of international allegiance.

The 20-year-old has been on the radar of the Black Stars since making his first-team breakthrough at Chelsea last season. A series of fine performances for Brighton in the Premier League this term has heightened the chase for his services.

Born to Ghanaian parents in London, he currently represents England at U21 level.

"We are following every top Ghanaian talent you may have seen on your screens," Okraku told Hello FM.

"Someone like Tariq Lamptey. We have been speaking with his family, to make sure that having identified him as a top talent we will bring him to represent our country.

"In the same vein, other people are also talking to him and his family to represent another country [England].

"The national team is for Ghanaians. It doesn't mean only those who reside in Ghana, but every Ghanaian across the world.

"For which reason, it would be suicidal for us not to search everywhere in the world to find the right talents for Ghana."

Lamptey is not the only England-born player in the plans of Ghana as Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah has also been approached by the West Africans.

"We've been able to talk to Eddie Nketiah's parents. But even though we've tried, it doesn't mean it's a done deal," Ghana coach CK Akonnor told Starr FM in August.

"Myself and the Ghana Football Association are working hard at it."

Ghana are also currently in the process of completing a nationality switch for former Netherlands youth centre-back Derrick Luckassen and erstwhile France U20 fullback Enock Kwateng who have both agreed to represent the Black Stars.

Last month, both players linked up with the Black Stars for the first time ahead of international friendly games against Mali and Qatar.

Ghana are also trying to persuade Anderlecht winger Francis Amuzu and Ajax Amsterdam young striker Brian Brobbey to take up an international future with the Black Stars, to leave Belgium and the Netherlands respectively.

Charlotte FC strengthen midfield with Brecht Dejaegere signing

The 39-year-old tactician explained how Bucs will have to get used to their hectic schedule

Orlando Pirates assistant coach Fadlu Davids feels the team's current congested fixture list will help them in the long run.

The Buccaneers have played five competitive matches in less than three weeks as they compete in the Premier Soccer League (PSL) and MTN8.

On Sunday, Pirates will take on their archrivals Kaizer Chiefs for the second time in eight days in the two-legged 2020 MTN8 semi-finals.

The 3-0 win over Chiefs in the first-leg match was followed by a 1-0 victory against Bloemfontein Celtic in a PSL match on Wednesday and Davids explained Pirates' squad rotation.

"If you take our first three matches, in every match there were three to five changes – against Cape Town City, then going to AmaZulu and then Stellenbosch," Davids told the media.

"Yes, a much better performance against Kaizer Chiefs [last Saturday] and now you want to build continuity. You can talk in hindsight what is right or wrong, we know it's three games in one week, and to prioritise."

Davids is currently in charge of the Buccaneers in the absence of the club's head coach, Josef Zinnbauer, who has travelled to his home country, Germany to attend a family matter.

Pirates are also set to compete in the Caf Confederation Cup and Nedbank Cup later this season as they chase elusive silverware.

Davids believes their back-to-back matches against Chiefs are good preparation for the team's tough schedule this season with the players having shown signs of fatigue against Celtic.

"Yes, we felt the effects of it in the first half [against Celtic] but that's what we've got to get used to because of our schedule coming up – it's Caf, the league, MTN8 and Nedbank," he added.

"If you want to push your players in terms of conditioning, you have to do it early in the season, knowing that we did not get a full six-week pre-season.

"So we felt it in the first-half but the squad we have was able to then turn it around in the second half, with the changes making the impact that we needed."

Pirates will be away to Chiefs in the semi-final second-leg encounter at FNB Stadium on Sunday.

Benfica 3-3 Rangers: Nunez levels it late as Gerrard's men squander two-goal lead

Benfica's Darwin Nunez scored in stoppage time to deny Rangers a 10th consecutive win in all competitions.

Darwin Nunez scored a stoppage-time equaliser as Rangers squandered a two-goal lead to draw 3-3 at 10-man Benfica and see their 100 per cent start in Europa League Group D come to an end on Thursday.

Steven Gerrard's side triumphed against Standard Liege and Lech Poznan in their opening two games, but they got off to a poor start at the Estadio da Luz as Connor Goldson diverted a low cross into his own net after just 60 seconds.

They powered back before half-time, though, taking ruthless advantage of Nicolas Otamendi's straight red card for a professional foul through an own goal from Diogo Goncalves and a fine strike from Glen Kamara.

Alfredo Morelos added a third shortly after the restart, but Benfica fought back for an unlikely draw as Rafa's 77th-minute effort preceded Nunez dramatically levelling proceedings with the clock winding down.

Benfica got off to a flier when Goldson turned into his own net from four yards after determined play down the right-hand side from Rafa.

Pizzi dragged wide after 10 minutes from a flowing counter-attacking move before Rangers were handed a lifeline when Otamendi was dismissed in the 19th minute for hauling down Ryan Kent after a long ball over the top.

The Scottish Premiership side took swift advantage of their numerical superiority, pulling level five minutes later when Goncalves comically put through his own net from James Tavernier's cross.

Kamara then put the visitors ahead just a minute later with a drilled effort from 20 yards, while Morelos slotted home a third in the 51st minute from Tavernier's low ball into the six-yard box.

Kent should have made it four, but struck the post with only Odisseas Vlachodimos to beat, with Rangers duly punished for his profligacy.

Rafa pulled one back for the hosts before Nunez slotted past Allan McGregor to seal a draw after being played clean through by Gian-Luca Waldschmidt.

What does it mean? Bitter pill for Gerrard to swallow

Gerrard will be furious with his side for conspiring to draw a game they dominated for long periods. They carved out 13 shots and enjoyed almost 59 per cent possession, while the hosts scored with their only two shots on target after Goldson's early own goal.

The result leaves both sides on seven points at the Group D summit, four points ahead of third-placed Lech Poznan.

Kamara shines for Rangers

The Finland international deserved to be on the winning side, putting the visitors 2-1 up with a well-struck effort and gaining possession nine times – more than any other Rangers player.

Benfica grab a point despite Otamendi's best efforts

Otamendi had his fair share of mishaps while at Manchester City and he was up to his old tricks on Thursday. He was badly caught out by Kent early on and deserved his red card for a clumsy challenge.

What's next?

Rangers host Hamilton Academical in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday before the international break, while Benfica are in domestic action on the same day against Braga.

Arsenal name 15-year-old Ethan Nwaneri on bench vs Brentford

After eight years with the English top-flight side, the Reds post-match analysis chief has left his job for a role with the Atlas Lions

Harrison Kingston has left reigning Premier League champions Liverpool to take up a role with the Moroccan Football Federation.

Following his move from Burnley to Anfield in August 2012, Kingston became a member of the Reds’ coaching staff and subsequently became the club’s head of post-match analysis.

His job description was investigating performances of the Reds players, using mainly video. He was also an important channel between the data science department and manager Jurgen Klopp.

However, he has left after eight years in charge to become the North African nation’s Director of Performance Analysis and Framework.

“I had eight amazing years at Liverpool and have nothing but positive feelings towards the club and the people who work there. The experiences will live with me forever,” Kingston told Training Ground Guru.

Kingston’s move was reportedly triggered by Welshmen Osian Roberts who is the technical director of the Morocco national team, with his compatriot Adrian Tucker as head of goalkeeping.

Explaining his role to Liverpool great Steven Gerrard during his visit to Anfield in 2018, Kingston said: “We're a part of the decision-making process.

“Our job really is to provide enough help, support and evidence – both from a team perspective and individuals – for the coaching staff to ultimately make a decision.

“One of the best things about Jurgen and his staff is that they take this work and shorten it down into key messages to what the player can do to help them.”

Other backroom staff members who departed the Reds over the last two years, include Klopp's assistant Zeljko Buvac, physios Christopher Rohrbeck, Richie Partridge and Ruben Pons.

Performance manager Phil Jacobsen is also expected to leave at the end of the 2020-21 season.

This recruitment is expected to strengthen the Atlas Lions’ technical department as they hope to qualify for the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon as well as the 2022 Fifa World Cup billed for Russia.

The North Africans crashed out of the 2019 Afcon having bowed out to Benin Republic on penalties after the score stood at 1-1 after extra time. Morocco represented Africa at the 2018 World Cup in Russia, albeit, they crashed out of the group stages when up against Spain, Portugal and Iran.

Did Tottenham's Son score the Premier League's fastest hat trick? Not even close

Harry Kane scored one and set up another in his 45 minutes on the pitch against Ludogorets, reaching 200 Tottenham goals in the process.

Harry Kane scored his 200th Tottenham goal in a comfortable 3-1 Europa League victory over Ludogorets at the Huvepharma Arena on Thursday.

Captaining the team on his 300th appearance in all competitions, Kane became the third Spurs player to score a double century of goals when he headed in Lucas Moura's corner in the 13th minute.

The England international and Lucas then reversed roles for the latter to double the scoring after the half-hour mark, with Jose Mourinho's decision to make seven changes from the side that lost 1-0 to Royal Antwerp in their previous Group J outing paying dividends.

Kane was withdrawn at half-time and Claudiu Keseru pulled one back for Ludogerts but Giovanni Lo Celso restored the visitors' two-goal cushion 12 minutes later and they cruised to the three points.

It seemed like Kane's wait for his landmark strike would not be ended in Bulgaria when he lofted a glorious one-on-one opening over and rattled the post with a powerful drive inside the opening six minutes.

The third time proved the charm, however, as his next effort was a powerful header from Lucas' corner that Plamen Iliev could not keep out.

Iliev denied Matt Doherty before Gareth Bale slid a pass into Kane, who returned the favour for Lucas with a perfectly weighted square ball that the Brazilian tapped home.

Seemingly sensing the job was done, Mourinho replaced Kane with Carlos Vinicius for the second half and Keseru halved the deficit in the 50th minute with a volley after Bernard Tekpetey's shot looped up off Harry Winks.

Son Heung-min replaced Lucas in the 61st minute and 15 seconds later teed up Lo Celso to ensure that Spurs' Europa League campaign was put back on track.

What does it mean? Alli still on the fringes

Mourinho hooked Dele Alli at half-time in the defeat to Antwerp and the attacking midfielder was left out of the squad to face Brighton and Hove Albion last weekend.

Despite having five subs available to him, the Tottenham boss opted not to give Alli any game time even once the result was secured.

Spurs king Kane

By setting up Lucas' goal in the first half, Kane moved into double figures for goals and assist in all competitions in just his 13th appearance in all competitions this season. In this form it will not take long for him to reach Spurs' all-time leading goalscoring mark of 266 set by Jimmy Greaves.

A capable back-up?

Carlos Vinicius was sent on for his third Spurs appearance – all of which have come in the Europa League. He missed a fantastic opportunity from 10 yards in the 53rd minute and struggled to get involved in the game. Kane (19) was the only Spurs player with fewer than his 20 touches – though the skipper certainly made his count for more – while his six successful passes were the fewest on the team.

What's next?

Tottenham travel to struggling West Brom in the Premier League on Sunday, while Ludogorets take on fellow First League title hopefuls CSKA Sofia on the same day.

Iheanacho handed second Europa League start for Leicester City against Braga

The Nigeria international has been included in the Foxes’ starting XI at the King Power Stadium against Carlos Carvalhal’s men

Kelechi Iheanacho has been named in Leicester City’s starting line-up against Sporting Braga in Thursday’s Europa League game.

The 24-year-old centre-forward has been in fine form in the current campaign and opened his season account against Zorya Luhansk in his first start in the tournament.

The Nigeria international also played a part in their second group game in the European competition against AEK Athens.

The Super Eagles forward has now been handed his second start in the tournament and will hope to add to his tally this season.

His compatriot Wilfred Ndidi is still recovering from a groin injury and has been left out of the encounter.

Iheanacho has made five appearances for the King Power Stadium oufit across all competitions this season, scoring one goal amid other dazzling displays.

The attacker’s spectacular strike against Zorya is in contention for Leicester City Goal of the Month for October.

Iheanacho has been with the Foxes since the summer of 2017 when the teamed up with the club from Manchester City.

The forward has featured in more than 80 games for the Premier League club across all competitions since his arrival at the King Power Stadium.

Iheanacho scored five goals in 20 appearances in the 2019-20 season to help Leicester finish fifth in the English top-flight to qualify for the Europa League.

Brendan Rodgers’ men currently lead Group G table with six points from two games and will hope to strengthen their lead with a victory over Braga.

Azam 3-0 Dodoma Jiji: Ice-cream Makers return to winning ways

In other matches, Coastal Union defeated Mtibwa Sugar by a solitary goal while Mbeya City and Tanzania Polisi battled to a 1-1 draw

Azam FC reclaimed the top position in the Tanzania Mainland League after a 3-0 win over Dodoma Jiji FC at Azam Complex in Chamazi on Thursday night.

Morris Aggrey Ambros, Ayoub Lyanga, and Hassan Kapona's own goal gave the 2014 champions maximum points.

Azam had dropped points in their previous two games; it started with a 1-0 loss to Mtibwa Sugar, their first and only loss this season, which was followed with a 1-1 draw with JKT Tanzania.

However, it was going to be a tricky affair against the visitors who had lost their last two matches.

The hosts won a free-kick in the 47th minute which was taken by Never Tigere. The defenders failed to clear it and it fell to captain Aggrey Morris who headed home to give his team the lead.

10 minutes later, the Ice-cream Makers doubled the advantage when a long ball by Ally Niyonzima kindly fell to Ayoub Lyanga who beat his marker before unleashing a rocket past the custodian.

Dodoma looked confused and lost after conceding the two goals. They looked vulnerable in all departments.

In the 68th minute, Azam managed to get their third. The red-hot Tigere beat his marker on the right before bringing a good cross in no man's land.

Prince Dube advanced with a target of getting the ball but he missed. However, defender Hassan Kapona was in the wrong position at the wrong time, and the ball hit him before bouncing into the net.

After Thursday's win, Azam are now on 25 points from the 10 matches they had played. The Chamazi-based side has won eight games, drawn once, and lost once as well.

On the other hand, Dodoma Jiji are 11th on the table with 12 points after three wins, three draws, and four losses.

Mbeya City were held to a 1-1 draw by Polisi Tanzania in their top-tier game played on Thursday as well.

It was Mbeya who scored first after just seven minutes. The administrative side conceded a free-kick outside the danger zone and Selemani Ibrahim took it. The goalkeeper parried it but the rebound fell kindly to Kibu Dennis whose fierce strike hit the back of the net.

Hassan Nassor Maulid managed to level the scores late in the first half after a goalline melee.

Mtibwa Sugar fell 1-0 to Coastal Union who scored their goal through Hamad Waziri Majimengi.

LIVE: AC Milan vs Lille

15' The game is quite scrappy at the moment, with a few cheap fouls been given away as both teams battle for possession. It's still Milan who are dominating, but the pace is quite slow and they don't yet look like creating an opportunity in front of goal.

13' Decent effort! Krunic wins a Free-kick to Milan in a decent position in the Lille half and Tonali delivers it into the penalty area, which is met by the head of Ibrahimovic. However, his header lacks any pace to beat Maignan, who comfortably gathers.

11' Diaz has scored in each of his last two Europa League games for Milan, and could be the first player since teammate Ibrahimovic in 2011-12 (a run of five) to score in three consecutive games for the club in major European competition.

9' Both teams are unbeaten so far this season in their respective domestic leagues, so it could be a tight game between two strong and in form sides.

7' Milan take too long in clearing the ball as they try and play it out from the back and they get penned in by Lille, with Hernandez caught in possession and they then give away a corner. However, the set piece comes to nothing as Donnarumma gathers comfortably in the air.

5' Lille can't get a touch on the ball at the moment, they are camped inside their own half, but are playing a good high press which is preventing Milan from getting into their final third.

3' It's the hosts with the early possession here, keeping the ball well in the middle of the pitch and making Lille chase it around the field, with everyone back defending so far.

1' We're under way!

The teams are out on the pitch and kick-off is just a few minutes away, stay tuned for all of the match action!

Meanwhile the visitors have made four changes to their team, with Mandava, Araujo, Andre and Yilmaz missing out and they have been replaced in the side by Bradaric, Xeka, Yazici and David.

LILLE SUBS: Lucas Chevalier, Reinildo, Jeremy Pied, Boubakary Soumare, Orestis Karnezis, Burak Yilmaz, Timothy Weah, Adama Soumaoro, Tiago Djalo, Benjamin Andre, Isaac Lihadji, Cheikh Niasse.

MILAN (4-2-3-1): Gianluigi Donnarumma; Diogo Dalot, Simon Kjaer, Alessio Romagnoli, Theo Hernandez; Franck Kessie, Sandro Tonali; Samu Castillejo, Brahim Diaz, Rade Krunic; Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The French side are also without a loss in their domestic league, sitting second in Ligue 1, just two points behind PSG. However, they have drawn their last two games. Furthermore, Lille are unbeaten in their Europa League campaign as well, having beaten Sparta Prague 4-1 and drawn 2-2 against Celtic to sit on four points, just behind Milan in Group H.

Milan are unbeaten in their opening six Serie A games this season and top the table, having won five and drawn one fixture so far and they beat Udinese 2-1 at the weekend, thanks to goals from Franck Kessie and Zlatan Ibrahimovic. They are also fairing well in Europe, as they top Group H, following victories over Celtic and Sparta Prague, 3-1 and 3-0 respectively.

LIVE: Arsenal vs Molde

17' Aside from Nketiah's early chance, there have been few openings so far. Both teams are tentatively retaining compact shapes as they look to spring counter-attacks.

15' Mustafi attempts a diagonal pass over the top to Pepe, but Linde anticipates the danger and rushes off his line to get there first.

13' Molde make a rare foray forward down the right as Wingo drills in a low cross, but Xhaka's on hand to hack it away from harm.

11' Willian shimmies past Wingo before hammering in a deep cross that Linde sails out to collect.

9' Molde are already dropping into a deep, compact shape as they attempt to invite Arsenal forward before hitting them on the break.

7' Pepe whips in the resulting corner but Bjornbak heads it clear at the near post.

6' Arsenal almost take the lead! Pepe drives at Haugen before neatly slipping Nketiah through on goal and the striker bears down on Linde before attempting a dink that trickles inches wide after flicking off the goalkeeper!

4' Willock finds a pocket of space out on the right and he teases in a dangerous cross that narrowly evades the run of Nketiah.

2' The away side begin with a long spell of possession around their back four as they attempt to settle into this one.

1' Molde get the first half underway.

The players are emerging from the tunnel and kick off is just seconds away!

Arsenal will need to keenly aware of Molde’s threat on the break today. The Norwegian side won four of their last six away matches in the Europa League, beating Scottish (Celtic) and Irish (Dundalk) opponents on this run.

Molde, meanwhile, make five changes to the side that that collected a 3-1 victory over Mjondalen last time out.

Arsenal completely switch up their lineup with nine changes to the team that defeated Manchester Utd - only Willian and Leno remain from that victorious side.

SUBS: Alex Craninx, Ola Brynhildsen, Birk Risa, Erling Knudtzon, Tobias Christensen, Mattias Mostrom, Marcus Holmgren Pedersen, Mathias Eriksen Ranmark, Leke James, Sheriff Sinyan.

MOLDE (4-3-3): Andreas Linde; Henry Wingo, Martin Bjornbak, Stian Gregersen, Kristoffer Haugen; Fredrik Aursnes, Magnus Wolff-Eikrem, Etzaz Hussain; Martin Ellingsen, Ohikhuaeme Omoijuanfo, Mathis Bolly.

SUBS: Matt Macey, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Bukayo Saka, Alexandre Lacazette, Hector Bellerin, Rob Holding, Cedric Soares, Runar Alex Runarsson, Kieran Tierney, Mohamed Elneny, Thomas Partey, Gabriel Magalhaes.

Both sides enter this one with the maximum six points from their two games and if one of them can win today, they’ll have done the bulk of the work needed to qualify for the next round.

Hello and welcome to live commentary of this Europa League Group B clash between Arsenal and Molde.

Kenya 2-1 Sudan: Rising Stars come from goal down to defeat their neighours

The Rising Stars have defeated their neighbours twice in the space of four days in preparation for the Cecafa championship

The Kenya U20 national team have defeated their counterparts from Sudan 2-0 in an international friendly match played at Nyayo Stadium on Thursday.

It was the visitors who opened the scoring courtesy of Ezeldin Abdurahman while Brian Wanyama and Matthew Mwendwa were on target for the hosts.

Both countries were using the friendly game to gauge their preparedness ahead of the Council of East and Central Africa Football Associations (Cecafa) championship in Tanzania.

It was Sudan who punished the Rising Stars for their slow start. It took Ezeldin Abdurahman just four minutes to score in favour of his team and put the Stanley Okumbi-led charges under early pressure.

The Rising Stars had to wait until the 35th minute to get back on level terms. Brian Wanyama was in a good position and he fully capitalized on it by ensuring the ball finds the back of the net.

Sudan matched their hosts and created several chances which they did not take; they were made to pay for it in the 78th minute when Matthew Mwendwa managed to score what turned out to be the winning goal for the Rising Stars.

This was the second time in four days the two teams were meeting. The first time was at Kasarani where Kenya, once again, came from a goal down to emerge 3-1 victors.

Sellasie Otieno, Ronald Reagan, and Mathew Mwendwa struck once each to cancel out the opening goal by the opponents courtesy of Nogh Hussein.

Kenya are in Group C in the Cecafa competition alongside Ethiopia and Sudan while Group A have hosts Tanzania, Rwanda, Somalia, and Djibouti. Group B is composed of Burundi, Eritrea, South Sudan and Uganda.

MTN8: SuperSport United coach Tembo concerned they 'are playing week in week out without a rest'

The Matsatsantsa boss is not too pleased his side will be playing their fifth game inside 15 days

SuperSport United coach Kaitano Tembo says “there is still a lot to play for” against Bloemfontein Celtic who grabbed an away goal in the first leg of the MTN8 semi-final, but expressed worry that his side are not rested because of crammed fixtures.

The Tshwane giants visit Celtic for Saturday’s second leg on the backdrop of a 1-1 reverse leg draw.

Tembo, however, feels that their opponents will be having the upper hand ahead of the contest at Dr Petrus Molemela Stadium.

“Advantage is with Celtic because they scored an away goal and they have home advantage. Pressure is on them now because they have one foot in the final,” said Tembo as per Sun Sport.

“But there is still a lot to play for. We don’t know what kind of tactics they will apply, whether they will sit back or come at us. We hope to take pressure to them.”

SuperSport United, however, arrive in Bloemfontein on a high after Wednesday’s 1-0 Premier Soccer League win over Stellenbosch.

But balancing closely-arranged fixtures between the league and Cup games does not sit well with Tembo who fears fatigue could creep into his camp.

He leads his side against a Celtic team that appear to be slightly rotating it’s squad to deal with the crammed match schedule.

On top of crammed fears, Tembo will have to do without defenders Grant Kekana and Luke Fleurs as well as midfielder Sipho Mbule.

“It’s a concern, we play week in week out without a rest. This is a different opponent, they rested about seven players. But we hope to improve our performances,” Tembo said.

“Sipho Mbule started training today, he is not fit enough to play. Grant and Luke are not considered for selection. But everyone is raring to go. We trust that we will find solutions. Siya [Nhlapo] will plug the gap, probably we might bring in Bongani [Khumalo].”

The Zimbabwean coach insists that he has players capable of making up a competitive outfit as SuperSport press to make it into the MTN8 final for a third season running.

“We might score early, even if they score early we will still be in the game,” said Tembo.

“Our pressing is good, we are able to deal with space in front of us. Sometimes an away goal can give a false sense of advantage. We have to play our normal game, we have players who can manage the game for us. We have a strong team to put out on Saturday.”

PSG to leave Parc des Princes amid mayor row

The former Senegal striker found the net as his Turkish outfit shocked the Red Devils in Wednesday’s Champions League clash

Demba Ba has celebrated his conspicuous role in İstanbul Basaksehir’s 2-1 defeat of Manchester United in Wednesday’s Champions League showdown.

After a stuttering start in the European club competition – losing to RB Leipzig and Paris Saint-Germain, Okan Buruk’s men found their winning formula against the English top-flight outfit.

The former Chelsea and Newcastle United forward opened the scoring at the Fatih Terim Stadium in the 12th minute with his maiden strike of the season, before Edin Visca scored the all-important second goal in the 40th minute.

In the process, Ba who is 35 years and 163 days old became the second oldest African player to score a Champions League goal, trailing Chelsea and Cote d’Ivoire great Didier Drogba, who scored his last Champions League goal in November 2014 at the age of 36 years and 259 days.

Anthony Martial reduced the deficit for the former English kings in a goal-laden first-half, however, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men were unable to launch a comeback in the second half.

Stimulated by his notable performance at the Old Trafford giants, Ba went on social media to revel in his man-of-the-match performance.

“So grateful to still be able to perform and score in the biggest stage of football. And being voted Champions League man of the match,” the veteran tweeted.

Despite this result, Istanbul Basaksehir sit at the base of Group H having accrued three points from three games. They continue their campaign in the Turkish top-flight when Genclerbirligi visit on Sunday.

The reigning Turkish champions are seventh on the log after garnering 10 points from seven outings.

Man Utd on best Premier League away run in 27 years with win at Everton

The Gabon international has heaped praise upon his team-mate for adding extra experience to the Gunners' squad this season

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang says Mohamed Elneny has gone up a level after his loan spell at Besiktas, describing the Arsenal midfielder's recent performances as "unbelievable".

Elneny's Arsenal career appeared to be drawing to a close when he completed a temporary move to Turkey in August 2019.

Besiktas snapped the 28-year-old up on a one-year loan deal with the option to buy, and he went on make 27 Super Lig appearances to help the club finish third in the table last season.

The Turkish outfit ultimately decided against bringing him in on a permanent basis, but he was still heavily linked with a move away from Emirates Stadium throughout the summer transfer window.

Mikel Arteta ultimately decided to keep hold of Elneny, who is now approaching the final six months of his contract with the Gunners, and he has played a key role in the Spaniard's set up in the early stages of the 2020-21 campaign.

The Egyptian has already featured in eight games for Arsenal in 2020-21, leading to rumours of a possible contract extension, which Arteta did not rule out ahead of a Europa League clash against Molde on Thursday.

"Let's go step by step please! What I can say is that I'm really pleased with the player and hopefully he can continue like that and perform all season," he told a pre-match press conference.

Elneny was one of the best players on the pitch in the Gunners' last outing against Manchester United, with an Aubameyang penalty giving Arteta's side a 1-0 victory in last weekend's heavyweight Premier League clash.

The Gabon international has been impressed with how much his team-mate has improved since his return to the Emirates, as he told the club's official website: “It was also a fantastic performance in midfield from Mo [against United].

"I think his loan spell was good for him - to go out and get some more experience. He came back with that experience and that's really important too. How he's been playing since he came back is just unbelievable.

“His sprint at the end of the game… I don't know how he did that! That is the energy he has, that's what we want as a team and everyone here really wants to play that way.

"We want to give everything, in every minute and that's exactly what Mo is doing."

Aubameyang added on his relationship with Elneny: “He's a funny guy Mo, and I think we are similar people. We are both always smiling and being positive, so when we get together it's always funny - we laugh a lot. It's really, really nice to be around him.”

Morgan makes first appearance since giving birth

The France-born stars have been summoned by the West African country for their double-header Afcon qualifying matches this month

Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Willy Boly and West Ham United forward Sebastien Haller are among the 26 players called up by the Ivory Coast for their 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixtures against Madagascar.

Last month, Boly was cleared by the International Federation of Association Football (Fifa) to represent the Elephants after playing for France U16, U17 and U19 teams.

Haller, born to an Ivorian mother and a French father, also played for the French youth teams across all levels but he is now ready to ditch the European giants for the 2015 Afcon champions.

Ivory Coast host Madagascar in Abidjan on November 12 before visiting the island country for the reverse fixture five days later.

Eric Bailly who has missed Manchester United’s last five matches due to a hamstring injury, has also been invited and he faces a race against time to be fit.

Patrice Beaumelle's side are third in Group K with three points from two games. They suffered a 2-1 defeat away at Ethiopia in their last group outing on November 19.

Sol Campbell, Phil Neville & Tony Pulis All on Shortlist for Sheffield Wednesday Job

The new players are expected to be part of the squad that will face Forest Rangers in the third match of the ongoing Super League campaign

Zambian Super League side Lusaka Dynamos have confirmed the signing of Musa Mohamed and Collins Sikombe.

Mohamed – a former Gor Mahia and KF Tirana defender – has signed a two-year deal with Lusaka Dynamos after his contract with the league champions Nkana FC came to an end last season.

“Lusaka Dynamos Football Club wish to officially confirm the signing of defence maestro Musa Mohamed Mayieko from Nkana Football Club for an initial two-year contract with an option to extend by a year,” the Super League side said on Thursday.

“Mohamed joins us as a free agent having spent two years at Nkana where he was a key member of the 2020 MTN/FAZ Zambia Premier League winning squad.”

After helping Kalampa win their 13th title, the Harambee Star told Goal on Wednesday that he would strive to win the title again with his new club.

“My dream is to help the team win the league this season. As a player, that is my main target and I am sure with the new teammates we will achieve just that,” the Kenyan Premier league winner said then.

“I would like to say a big thank you to the Nkana family especially for the support I enjoyed while I was there. They believed in me and gave me the necessary support as a player. I am cherished by the move because I think it is another step that will help me career-wise.”

On his part, Sikombe has also signed an identical contract to Mohamed’s.

“Lusaka Dynamos wishes to confirm the transfer of Collins Sikombe from Napsa Stars,” the club added.

“The Chipolopolo attacking midfielder joins for an initial two years with an option for an extra year. Sikombe, who missed the draw against his former team Napsa Stars yesterday [Wednesday], will feature against Forest Rangers this weekend after his transfer and registration were completed.”

The two players have already joined their new teammates and were part of the afternoon training session that was conducted on Thursday. After completing his move, Emmanuel Chabula has also linked up with the side that is preparing for the upcoming third match of the 2020/21 season.
