LIVE: Tottenham vs Arsenal

45' + 3' HALF TIME: Tottenham 2-0 Arsenal

45' Arsenal continue to mount the pressure on Spurs with a succession of corners but the hosts manage to repel each of them.

44' Arsenal win a promising free-kick on the edge of the area but Lacazette's shot flicks off Kane in the wall and away for a corner.

42' Saka drills in another dangerous cross that Reguilon brilliantly prevents Willian from reaching for a tap in.

40' The away side work a free-kick short before Tierney crosses it towards the back post where Sissoko thumps a header clear.

38' Lacazette stops another break for the hosts by tracking back 20 yards to slide in and poke it away from Son.

37' Son whips in a cross to the near post where Holding bravely flicks it away.

35' Arsenal have controlled possession and territory since the goal, but they're labouring to create any shooting chances inside the box.

33' Saka dances his way to the byline before dinking it across to Lacazette who can't beat Dier in the air and the hosts clear.

31' All three of Tottenham's shots have come from outside the box so far - the hosts are looking to capitalise on shooting opportunities as soon as they arrive, rather than patiently waiting for openings.

29' Kane drives into the box before drilling a shot against Xhaka.

27' Reguilon darts to the byline before cutting it back in the box where Holding is on hand to poke it out to Hojbjerg who lashes it venomously at Leno from 25 yards.

25' Willian beats Dier with a couple of quick step-overs before slamming in an early cross that Alderweireld cleverly deflects away from the run of Aubameyang.

23' Willian and Bellerin work a quick interchange on the edge of the box, but Sissoko is covering the danger and he tracks the run before clearing.

21' This game's had a frenetic tempo since the goal; Arsenal are flying forward in search of a quick equaliser while Tottenham look sharp and precise on the counter.

19' Son attempts to return the favour to Kane as he bends in a devious cross towards the striker, but Gabriel does well to climb highest and power it clear.

17' Xhaka tries to fire his team-mates up as he crashes into another challenge on the halfway line to concede a free-kick.

15' Well, that's a huge blow for Arsenal. They were quickly settling into the game, but that moment of inspiration has set them back considerably.

12' Thomas lets fly with a powerful effort from 30 yards that whistles high and wide.

11' Dier's nervous back-pass forces Lloris into conceding a throw-in deep inside the Tottenham half. The opening 10 minutes have been riddled with fouls and mistakes as both teams try and calm themselves down.

9' Saka almost wriggles his way into the box, but Alderweireld anticipates the danger and races across to hack it clear.

7' Arsenal win a free-kick of their own 30 yards from goal and Willian's delivery eventually falls to Saka who lashes a speculative effort over from outside the box.

5' Tottenham have started this one brightly, as they continue to purposefully move the ball around midfield.

2' Kane runs at the heart of the Arsenal defence before Xhaka comes across to knock him over and concede a free-kick. Dier attempts to curl it around the wall from 30 yards, but it drifts harmlessly over the bar.

1' Arsenal get the first half under way.

The players are emerging from the tunnel and kick-off is just seconds away!

Arsenal, similarly, make 10 changes to their side that defeated Rapid Vienna with just Lacazette remaining from that victorious side.

Spurs make eight changes to their heavily rotated midweek side that faced LASK; most notably, Kane returns to the starting line-up after a minor injury.
